The manga’s Gakkō Hen Wild Police Story spinoff is also getting an anime adaptation
Shogakukan announced on Monday that two Gosho Aoyama spinoffs — the Detective Conan Conan: Hannin No Hanzawa-san manga and Detective Conan: Zero No Tea Time manga’s Takahiro Arai — will both get anime adaptations. Shogakukan has revealed visuals for both anime and is also streaming a teaser video for the anime.
Famous Detective Conan: Hannin no Hanzawa-san is a manga that takes the shadowy “criminal” star who appears in the chapters of the famous Detective Conan to represent the mysterious perpetrators. The manga launched in Shōnen Sunday S magazine in May 2017. The manga’s sixth volume will ship in Japan on October 18.
Arai drew the Detective Conan: Zero Np Tea Time manga in Shonen Sunday in May 2018. The series started out only when the Detective Conan manga itself went on hiatus (Aoyama has often put the manga on hiatus for research and storytelling. from July 2018). The manga’s fifth volume will ship on October 18.
The side manga revolves around the daily life of a “three-faced” agent, known as Rei Furuya who works for the National Police Agency, Tōru Amuro as a private detective and Café Poirot waiter, and Bourbon as member of the Black Organization.
Meitantei Conan Keisatsu Gakkō Hen Wild Police Story’s Arai (Detective Conan: Police Academy Arc Wild Police Story) also inspired a TV anime.
