After revealing its fifth and final class, Diablo 4 shows off the customization possibilities for those who want to control the army of the dead.
Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase has seen a lot of big announcements for players. Among the updates to Redfall, Starfield, and several other major titles, Diablo 4 fans saw the reveal of the fifth and final playable class to join the game as a Necromancer. The Necromancer class has appeared in previous Diablo titles, but it looks like it will be changed a lot from those games, as shown in the 11 minutes of the new game shows the power of command the dead.
In the new Diablo 4 gameplay, fans got a closer look at the game’s newest class and some details surrounding the new PvP elements. Starting with the Necromancer in Diablo 4, it looks like players who join this class will have a lot of customization in how they want to deal with their enemies. They can summon three different types of skeletons, from traditional undead warriors and mages to giant goblins. Each of these three summons also has their own three specializations, so there seems to be a lot of potential to tailor the Necromancer to suit a certain playstyle.
However, the Necromancer doesn’t just rely on summoning skeletons in Diablo 4. In the new game, it will feature four main gameplay styles for players to choose from, using the traditional spells that Diablo 2 players will. familiar, along with blood. magic and harness the power of darkness. The Necromancer’s mechanic class in Diablo 4 is called Book of the Dead and it’s what allows players to create their own army of undead to suit the way they want to play.
Diablo 4 is due out in 2023 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
Continuing from the Necromancer, Diablo 4 gameplay gives fans a closer look at some of the PvP elements they can experience in the game. Diablo 4’s PvP will allow players to clash across the game’s world during play and battle each other for some rewards. Since Diablo 4 is a game that requires a constant online connection, it is likely that players will encounter other players’ characters frequently.
There seems to be a lot of incentive for gamers to take down others in Diablo 4, as the game will place bonuses on special people with PvP combat skills. This means that taking down a player with multiple lives will earn a better reward than just taking down another random player. There are other online elements available to players in Diablo 4, such as DLC skins and expansions that fans will likely see in the months and years after launch.
