A year after the Nintendo Switch exclusivity, NIS America announced Disgaea 6 Complete is coming to PC, PS4 and PS5 this summer.
2021 is going to be a great year for the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo celebrates its fourth year in the market with some incredible exclusive titles like Metroid Dread, Shin Megami Tensei 5, No More Heroes 3 and even one Notable titles have come into the spotlight like NIS America’s Disgaea 6. With the game out for a year, it’s no surprise that Disgaea 6 is set to make the jump from a Switch exclusive to other platforms with Disgaea 6 Complete, which brings together all of the Switch version’s DLC together. with the main game coming to PS4, PS5 and PC this summer.
Disgaea is a series of strategy role-playing games created by Nippon Icchi Software (NIS), which first debuted on PS2 in 2003 and has since become a successful JRPG franchise with various versions, and the game is positioned as the leading brand for the publisher NIS. Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny was first released on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan on January 28, 2021. The game follows a zombie named Zed on his quest to defeat the god of destruction and for the first time. introduced 3D visuals in the game’s 13-year history.
Despite releasing on both PS4 and Switch in Japan, only the Nintendo Switch version was released to the outside via the English version of the game in June 2021. This comes as a surprise after much of it has already been released. Past PlayStation consoles include Disgaea 5, a PS4 exclusive for two years prior to the final Switch release.
Disgaea 6 Complete will release on PC, PS4 and PS5 in the summer of 2022. The first version is available on Nintendo Switch.
It looks like the game’s exclusivity is a conscious effort from NIS America, however, it’s now been announced that Disgaea 6 Complete will launch on the PlayStation in the summer of 2022. The new version. This will include all past character and skin DLC, including the ability to appear characters from previous installments in the series.
While the PS5 version has been confirmed for June 16 in Japan, the English versions are both delayed, slated to release in “summer 2022”. Even so, NIS America has also revealed a new collection of Disgaea 6 for PS4 and PS5 that sells for $109.99 and includes the “brand name” version of the game, a book, a bookcase, a two-disc music CD, four art cards, and a collector’s box. This collection is available on the NIS America online store.
