Over the years, the “Mouse” from a company specializing in the production of animation and children’s programs has become the world’s largest studio for all ages. In the hands of Disney are a series of famous global brands such as the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Pixar …

Actress Ariana DeBose – who won an Oscar and a Golden Globe for West Side Story (2022) – voices the main character Asha. In an interview, she revealed, “I’m really happy that girls can empathize with this character. This is a girl with many interesting stories and personalities, like countless other Disney characters.”

After the process of preparing and building the world in Era IV, Marvel’s most feared villain, Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors) has officially appeared. The movie is slated to release on February 17.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (Guardians of the Galaxy 3)
After the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019) and Thor: Love and Thunder (2022), the Guardians of the Galaxy continue their mission of philanthropy across the universe. However, they must face a formidable new force as well as search for the whereabouts of Gamora (Zoe Saldaña).
After two extremely popular movies, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is James Gunn’s final work in the MCU. After the success of a series of works such as the Toy Story, Cars or Soul series (2020), Elemental will be a promising project of Pixar when answering the question of whether elements have emotions. The film is directed by veteran Pixar filmmaker Peter Sohn, and stars Leah Lewis and Mamoudou Athie.
The Little Mermaid (The Little Mermaid)
The Little Mermaid is the next work in Disney’s series of reboots of famous worldwide animated franchises. Like Beauty and the Beast (2017), The Lion King (2019) or Aladdin (2021), the film’s content will closely follow the 1989 animated version with the main character Ariel (Halle Bailey) – the daughter of the Neptune Triton (Javier Bardem). She falls in love with the human world and falls in love with the handsome Prince Eric (Jonah Hauer-King) after saving him from a shipwreck.
Ariel turns to Ursula (Melissa McCarthy) to wish to be with her lover but falls into the trap of the evil witch. In each remake, Disney wants to keep the spirit and lessons from the original works, as well as bring new meanings suitable for the times. The Little Mermaid will revive the audience’s memories through familiar songs such as Part of Your World, Under the Sea… The film will hit theaters on May 16 nationwide.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (Indiana Jones and the Wheel of Destiny)
After acquiring Lucasfilm, Disney owns two classic franchises, Star Wars and Indiana Jones. In particular, Indiana Jones is an action-adventure series associated with generations of audiences around the world. Fifteen years after the last adventure in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008), Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) has returned with a new and equally difficult journey.
This time, the great archaeologist is caught up in the space race in the 1960s. He has to fight scientists of fascism origin who are recruited by the United States into the program to build spacecraft with sound plot to rule the world. After years of absence, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny not only revives the old hit franchise, but also promises to create a new series of films that are equally attractive. The film is slated to hit theaters on June 30, 2023.
The Boogeyman (Boogeyman)
Adapted from the 1973 short story of the same name by Stephen King, The Boogeyman revolves around two sisters Sawyer (Vivien Lyra Blair) and Sadie (Sophie Thatcher). Grieving over the tragic death of their mother, they gradually discover an evil entity is slowly invading the house. Sawyer and Sadie are forced to find a way to make their father believe them before it’s too late.
Initially, The Boogeyman was scheduled to air on Hulu in 2023. However, the project received a lot of praise and moved to a box office release. The film is a testament that Disney can also make horror works, especially adaptations of stories by “horror boss” Stephen King, no less than anyone. The Boogeyman will premiere on June 2, 2023.
The Marvels
Following the events in the mini-series Ms. Marvel (2022) and WandaVision (2021), Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan (Kamala Khan) and Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) constantly swap positions every time they use their powers. The trio is forced to combine to find the real cause behind.
The Marvels is Marvel’s final blockbuster in 2023 with the task of discovering the mysterious sources of power of the MCU’s most powerful superheroes. In addition, the film also acts as a link between television and cinema. In particular, the information that Korean actor Park Seo Joon will participate in this film also makes the audience excited to wait for his first Hollywood role.
Haunted Mansion (Haunted Mansion)
Haunted Mansion is a movie inspired by The Haunted Mansion haunted house theme park at Disneyland. The work begins when single mother Gabbie and her 9-year-old son move to an unexpectedly cheap mansion in New Orleans (USA) to start a new life. When they moved in, they realized the house was haunted. Gabbie seeks help but finds herself in more trouble.
Twenty years ago, The Haunted Mansion was adapted into a popular movie of the same name starring comedian Eddie Murphy. The brand reboot is still faithful to the horror-comedy style with a compelling new storyline. The film’s cast is also Hollywood cult names such as Rosario Dawson, LaKeith Stanfield, Owen Wilson, Tiffany Haddish, Winona Ryder, Dan Levy, Jared Leto, Danny DeVito, and Jamie Lee Curtis.
A Haunting in Venice
After the success of Murder on the Orient Express (2017) and Death on the Nile (2022), detective Hercule Poirot is back and more powerful with A Haunting in Venice. This time, he is retired but still has to solve a case related to mysterious psychic events.
A Haunting in Venice is adapted from Hallowe’en Party – a less famous story than its two predecessors. Therefore, the film promises to bring unexpected “turns of the wheel” with a plot with many interesting twists and turns. The film stars Kyle Allen, Kenneth Branagh, Jamie Dornan, Tina Fey, Jude Hill, Kelly Reilly, Michelle Yeoh and is expected to hit theaters on September 15.
