Many fans jokingly said that Faker was looking for a way to “increase the resolution of the livestream” but winning the League of Legends world was not good.
Recently, the Korean gaming community is competing to “dig up” a post nearly 10 years ago of an “emerging streamer”.
More specifically, on January 14, 2013, a young streamer posted an article on the Korean League of Legends forum that: “I watched my livestream myself, the resolution is quite bad… I will stream again when I improve the resolution.”
After that, this emerging streamer “disappeared” and never returned to the livestream. But it is not a stranger that the young male streamer is Lee Sang-hyeok, a few months later he “debuted” to the LoL village with the name Faker and became one of the greatest Esports players in Korea.
Until yesterday, T1 officially signed a livestream contract on the AfreecaTV platform. So “Gojeonpa” will officially return to livestream on AfreecaTV after nearly 10 years of “effervescent streaming”.
Many fans are quite excited about Faker’s “go to return” journey and hope he will use his name “Gojeonpa” again. So in the near future, the old name of Devil King will probably be mentioned a lot in the Korean LoL community.
