While the transfer market of the League of Legends village is taking place extremely excitingly, T1 is probably the only giant that is still “silent”. The only transfer information related to T1 is just extending the contract with Faker and saying goodbye to the personnel who no longer contribute to the team.
However, recently, Doinb revealed some information related to Faker that made many fans of this team worried. Specifically, the Mid laner of LNG Esports (LNG) shared: “Scout really wanted to return to T1. This year, Faker also seriously considered going abroad to play. There are 3 teams. in the LPL are ready to make offers with extremely high salaries. But I think he will stay at T1, because of the LPL regulations on how much a team can pay.”
This is not the first time Faker has received offers from the LPL or other major regions in the LoL village. However, in the end, Faker still stayed and competed in the T1 shirt. As one of the symbols of T1 in particular, the LCK and the Korean LoL village in general, Faker is almost not going to leave. Especially when Faker’s professional playing time is not much.
After years of ups and downs, Faker is now more important to the title than anything else. And perhaps Faker himself also realizes that only T1 can help him get to the championships. Not to mention, Faker will need to play at the highest level to win an official position in the ASIAD squad convincingly. Therefore, it will almost certainly not be possible for Faker to leave T1.
Currently, Faker is a free agent, but both he and the T1 Board of Directors are in no hurry. Faker himself also needs to carefully consider the upcoming contract so that the two sides can come to the most perfect agreement, worthy of the stature of the greatest player in League of Legends.
