Junichi Suwabe, Romi Park, Yuuki Kaji join the cast of the movie March 2022
Kodoani.com – The official website for the Doraemon: Nobita, “Star Wars” 2021 anime series began releasing a new trailer for the film on Thursday. The trailer previews the official HiGE DANdism’s “Universe” song. The website also revealed the anime’s voice cast.
The voice cast includes:
Junichi Suwabe as Duracorul, a follower of Doraemon and the others
Romi Park as Papi, a tiny alien
Yuuki Kaji as Rokoroko, Papi .’s pet dog
The film will premiere on March 4, 2022 after a delay due to the COVID-19 illness. The film was originally slated to open in March of last year, but the staff delayed the film to spring.
Doraemon: Nobita’s Little “Star Wars” 2021 is the 41st movie in the Doraemon series. The film is a remake of the 1985 film of the same name Doraemon. The 1985 film will screen in select theaters in Japan from November 23 to December 2.
Susumu Yamaguchi – key animator of many previous Doraemon films, Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s Chronicle of the Moon Exploration film director, and Mobile Suit Gundam AGE director – will direct the new film. Dai Sato (Eureka Seven Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Listeakers) is writing the script. Official HiGE DANdism composed the “Universe” theme song especially for the film. Shirogumi, the 3D CG studio behind Stand By Me Doraemon, will be handling the special effects for the spaceships in the film.
