The September issue of Shogakukan, Petit Comic magazine revealed on August 6 that Kazumi Kazui will draw a new side story chapter Dōse Mō Nigerarenai (Not Like I Can Run Away) in the magazine’s next issue on day 8.
The manga revolves around a design company and the relationship that begins between the company’s president and a part-time employee. Takumi Sakisaka, the company’s president, maintains an image of a carefree playboy, but an award-winning designer. Naho Nodakuchi is an ordinary, dressed woman who works part-time at the company.
Kazui launched the manga in Shogakukan’s Petit Comic magazine in July 2011, and ended it in July 2015. Shogakukan published 10 compiled book volumes for the manga.
Kazui drew a manga adaptation of Kyoichi Katayama’s novel Socrates in Love in 2004. Viz Media published both the novel and the manga in English in 2005.
Komiyuno drew Demashita! The PowerPuff Girls Z manga series ran from 2006 to 2007, adapted the anime of the same name, and also drew Megumi Mizusawa’s Hime-chan no Ribon Colorful, a remake of Megumi Mizusawa’s classic Hime-chan’s Ribbon Hime-chan no Ribon) manga. .
