The future of EGO at CERBERUS Esports is increasingly dark, even though he was one of the gods in the championship victory of Monster Dog last season.
The opening week of the VCS Spring 2022 continues to be heated with the match between CERBERUS Esports and GAM Esports taking place on the evening of February 12. Not only is the match between the defending champion and the defending runner-up, the match that converges the most powerful superstar force of Vietnamese League of Legends, but what makes this match attractive, also comes from the fans. Curious whether EGO will appear or not?
After a series of dramas at the beginning of the new year, EGO has completely collapsed its image in the eyes of fans, as well as seriously affected the reputation of the host team CERBERUS Esports. Even the CES side had to post an official statement confirming that it would investigate the player’s private life scandals. And recently, in a very remarkable move, the VCS Champion removed EGO from the lineup in the opening match against GAM Esports.
Specifically, the CES lineup in the match against GAM will include:
Top lane: Pun. Jungle: Phuc1. Mid lane: Yado. Gunner: Artemis. Support: RonOP.
The position of EGO was replaced by Phuc1, although the Bac Ninh player was not injured and soon joined the team. This is also the only change in the CES lineup compared to the 2021 VCS Winter Finals.
Previously, CERBERUS Esports also made a move to exclude EGO from the media publication promoting the campaign to defend the VCS championship, when the team’s Fanpage cover photo did not have EGO present.
EGO disappears from the media publication of CERBERUS Esports
With CES “not saying but doing”, it seems that this team has made the final decision in the case of EGO. Before that, this player had a long time off from the game for “psychological treatment” during the VCS Spring 2021 period, and it is not excluded that this will happen again, when the What EGO shows on social media is putting CES under great pressure in front of the public.
Or worse, CES has absolutely a reason to cut off the contract with the star born in 2002, after the unnecessary scandals he caused.
