Kodoani.com – The anime's production team My Hero Academia posted a video preview of the first episode of the seventh season on Thursday. This video has not yet been broadcast on television.
The anime's seventh season was announced after the sixth season ended in March 2023. A four-episode My Hero Academia Memories compilation special with some new scenes premiered on April 6. (starting from episode 139 of the entire anime) will then premiere on May 4. The anime will re-air on YTV and NTV on Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. (4:30 a.m. EDT).
Romi Park voices the characters Star and Stripe in the new part. Artist TK from Ling Tosite Sigure performs the new opening theme “Tagatama”. Omoinotake will perform the ending theme song “Tsubomi” (Fflower Bud).
The anime also revealed My Hero Academia: You're Next, the fourth film, will premiere on August 2. Original manga creator Kōhei Horikoshi serves as general supervisor and original character designer. The film has an origin story that takes place at the same time as the current television anime, with the collapse of secure society.
