Faker was set up an entire column on MXH by anti-fans to attack, forcing T1’s legal department to immediately handle it.
Faker is always considered one of the legends of the world of LoL. Even compared to some other names like Uzi, Bjergsen… then Faker is even better in terms of fame and influence. Even in the area opposite the LCK, which is the LPL, Faker also has many hard fans and Chinese LoL fans also recognize him as one of their “5 gods”, besides TheShy, SofM, Uzi and MadLife .
However, Faker’s image was somewhat dented in the last Spring of 2022, especially after his statements about having a game-breaking situation in the Korean rank. According to the T1 captain, every time he encounters game breakers, almost all of those cases are LPL players. Immediately, these statements of Faker created a wave of fierce controversy in the Chinese LoL fan community. In particular, after the MSI 2022 Finals, Faker admitted that he was not impressed with any of the Royal Never Give Up players, but just thinking about the match made the LPL community even more angry.
Recently, an incident has made T1 fans in general and Faker fans in particular extremely angry. Specifically, according to Osen – a Korean media site, on a quite famous forum in the land of kimchi, anti-fans have set up a column. In particular, this column, since MSI 2022, has continuously posted articles to attack Faker. And of course, T1 cannot stay out of this conversation.
Also according to the Osen page, the T1 side contacted the other forum administrator, requesting the immediate removal of articles criticizing and defaming Faker. In addition, T1’s legal team also got involved. According to the lawyer of T1’s legal team, the team has transferred the files to the authorities. This is considered an action of T1 to protect the players against malicious attacks from anti-fans, especially when the new season is approaching.
