Bethesda released a new roadmap for Fallout 76 detailing some of the content fans can look forward to coming to the game in 2022.

Fallout 76 is in much better shape now than it was, and the new content shows no signs of slowing down. Bethesda recently outlined its plans for Fallout 76 in 2022, releasing a new roadmap to give fans an idea of what to expect next year.
Looks like fans Fallout 76 can expect four major game updates in 2022, one per season. Things kick off in the spring with Invaders from Beyond, in which Fallout 76 players will find themselves up against aliens and otherworldly cyborgs. This will include new public events, an update to Fallout Worlds, and the start of Season 8, entitled Better Life Underground.
Summer content of Fallout 76 is called Test Your Metal, and it looks like it will primarily focus on new public events. Fallout 1’s scoreboard will also be updated as part of the summer content and it will be joined in Season 9, though details on what exactly that will entail have yet to be revealed.

Fall will bring the most exciting update to Fallout 76 of all of 2022, as players can look forward to Expeditions: The Pitt. This update will take players out of the Appalachian Mountains of Fallout 76 and into The Pitt, an area previously featured in Fallout 3. Players will be able to complete multiple quests while exploring post-Pittsburgh Pittsburgh. apocalypse, not to mention get access to new rewards and enjoy Season 10 content that matches it all.
And finally, the winter time update in Fallout 76 is called Nuka-World on Tour. It looks like based on the Fallout 4 Nuka-World DLC, this update will see Nuka-World make its way to Appalachian.
