According to EA’s Q4 2022 revenue report, FIFA 23 is EA’s most successful football game. Specifically, the number of pre-orders for this game increased by 4% over the same period, with North American sales increasing by more than 50% compared to the usual.
Currently, FIFA 23 has more than 10.3 million players in the first week (this figure of FIFA 22 is only 9.1 million). EA CEO Andrew Wilson also shared that FIFA 23 is well on its way to becoming the biggest game in franchise history.

Meanwhile, FIFA Online 4 is also storming the Asian market. The latest report said, FIFA Online 4 reached the record of highest monthly players since the beginning of 2022.

Not stopping on PC, FIFA Mobile has also reaped great achievements in recent times, especially in the Southeast Asian market. Thanks to the World Cup effect, FIFA has collected 2.5 million downloads, an increase of 92% compared to the time before the World Cup took place.
However, from 2023, the famous FIFA football game series will be renamed EA Sports FC, ending the relationship between the World Football Federation and Electronic Arts. In May 2022, the World Football Federation (FIFA) and Electronic Arts (EA) failed to reach a trademark license agreement after months of intense negotiations.
Since last year, the relationship between FIFA and EA gradually cracked. Many sources say FIFA wants to receive licensing fees twice as much as $150 million a year, or $1 billion every four years. FIFA also wants to put the brand on other EA electronic products including games.
