Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth could be the first game for new players

The trailer also ends with the reveal that the title will release in the winter of 2023, which means that fans of the franchise still have a lot to look forward to, especially as Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 is in the works. Of course this release timeframe will give gamers more time to play their first game if they haven’t already, but according to Square Enix that’s not necessary.

In a post on social media, Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy director Tetsuya Nomura said that anyone who plays Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will not need to play the original 1997 game and also won’t need to play Final Fantasy. 7 Remake. Nomura shared that “Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is being designed so that people can enjoy the game whether they know the original game or not. In fact, new players may even want to start their Final Fantasy 7 journey with Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.”

Nomura continued that Cloud is leaving Midgar and starting a new journey, promising to bring gamers a whole new experience.
