However, a surprise happened when GE completely defeated SKY to become the last team to participate in the upcoming VCS Summer 2022 after the Promotion round.

To be clear, GE did not appear to be superior to the representative from VCS. The position of the 2 teams in all 3 games is almost equal. However, in a day of competition where Gloryy couldn’t show 100% of his performance, Draktharr alone was not enough to undo the whole match for SKY. It is no longer possible to recognize the appearance of the team that once entered the top 4 in VCS Winter 2021. The players of SKY all competed very sporadically in important teamfights and then lost the whole match.
