Recently, this year’s 35th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump announced that Tite Kubo will publish a new chapter for the Bleach manga. This new chapter consists of 73 pages – this is the product to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Bleach’s launch. The content of the chapter will begin when “Ichigo was invited to Soul Society for a ceremony but!?…”
Kubo launched the series in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2001, and ended it in August 2016. The series along with One Piece, Dragon Ball and Naruto were called the Four pillars of Shounen Jump at that time. However, with the prolonged, repetitive plot, the final act of the story did not keep up its style and gradually retreated from the new series.
The series was adapted into 366 TV Anime episodes and was broadcast for 8 years from 2004 to 2012. In addition, the story was also adapted into a live action movie. Bleach live action premiered in July 2018.
