What happened in Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode 9?
As the title suggests, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End episode #9, “Aura the Guillotine” saw Frieren fighting Aura and her army of headless zombies to protect the city. During the fight, Aura noted that Frieren only disabled her control over the corpses instead of blowing them up like she did in their last battle, which Frieren explained was because Himmel had scolded her for doing that. Aura didn’t understand why Frieren would care what Himmel thought when he died, and that lack of empathy confirmed to Frieren that demons were nothing more than monsters and that she could kill Aura without mercy.
While that was happening, Fern and Stark were confronted by Lügner and Linie, with Lügner using his blood to track their movements. Fern was initially at a disadvantage against Lügner, but she was able to overwhelm Lügner with her speed and strength. However, Stark is unable to deal with Linie, whose magic allows her to copy Eisen’s techniques, but after remembering how Eisen taught him to never give up in a fight, Stark regains his resolve. and fought off Linie long enough to launch an attack. finishing blow, in which Fern did the same to Lügner.
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End revealed how the villain will be defeated
The war between Frieren and Aura is still ongoing, but Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End has revealed how Aura will be defeated. Aura’s submissive scale allows her to control anyone whose magic is weaker than hers, and the natural weakness is that if someone overcomes Aura’s magic, the power will be reversed and Aura will become a victim. under someone’s control. With such a blatant weakness, it was obvious that Aura would be defeated as she attempted to use the Scales of Obedience on Frieren, only for Frieren to reverse the effect by overwhelming Aura with her raw power.
Of course, such a defeat would be the most worthy defeat for Aura to suffer. With how much Aura lives to abuse people to the point that her magic revolves around that, letting her lose by falling under the same curse she has inflicted on others would be nothing. beyond irony, and Frieren being the one to do that would be a perfect thing. way to determine how strong she is. There’s no better way for the fight between Frieren and Aura to play out, and it would be great to see if Freeze: Beyond Journey’s End episode #10 decided to follow such an obvious setup.
Be sure to watch Freeze: Beyond Journey’s End episode #10 when released on November 10.
