The November issue of popular Japanese teen magazine Monthly CoroCoro Comic was released on October 14, 2023 and announced the collaboration of three Shogakukan titles: Shonen Sunday’s Freezing: Beyond Journey’s Endand CoroCoro Comics Unmei no Makimodoshi And Beyblade X story. The collaboration includes a Beyblade-themed interactive manga featuring Frieren characters and Unmei no Makimodoshi protagonist Chrono. Check out the cover art and images below:

More generally, the manga will explore the adventures of Chrono and Frieren. For example, with a giant iceberg hurtling toward Chrono, Frieren, Fern, and Stark, CoroCoro readers are faced with choices in the interactive manga that can lead to different outcomes. Interactive manga requires an internet connection and a phone that can scan QR codes.

According to the terms and conditions, Frieren’s collaborative manga does not have a digital version. Frieren is currently streaming on Crunchyroll, which revealed the cast for the manga’s English dub last week. Crunchyroll describes Frieren: After the group of heroes defeated the Demon King, they restored peace to the land and returned to their lonely lives. Many generations pass and the elven mage Frieren must face the death of humanity. She takes on a new apprentice and promises to fulfill the dying wishes of her old friends.
