At this tournament, I am confident that GAM and SGB will not be inferior to any team in the world and will compete fairly with them.”

At Worlds 2017, GIGABYTE Marines (predecessor of GAM Esports) had an unfortunate stop in the group stage. According to the results of the group draw, GAM is in Group C with Rogue, TOP eSports and an unknown opponent from the Play-In Round. This is considered a difficult group for the number one seed of Vietnam when the opponents are all very strong.
For Saigon Buffalo (SGB), this is the team that gathers the young and most promising faces of VCS. However, the members of SGB showed a completely different face and surprised the international community at the last MSI. Despite the upheaval on Visa issues, SGB members showed great determination at this tournament.
