Therefore, GAM has considered the next steps that are recruiting new recruits. According to information from VCS Engish, GAM has reached an agreement with mid laner Playcool. The player who played for AS Esports next season will join GAM as a substitute for Kati next season.
Playcool is a fairly new name in the Vietnamese LoL village, this player has just joined the professional competition from Summer 2022 with AS Esports in VCSB, then promoted and had his first challenges in VCS.
Although not having a good record with ASE, Playcool also shows a high level of confidence of a young player, along with a wide pool of champions from pure mages to gladiator champions or mid lane ADC. Therefore, joining GAM even as a substitute will be a good step for this young talent.
GAM has made a move to increase the depth of the lineup, but until now, fans are still worried about the Support position. With the departure of Bie and Elio, GAM is really in need of a partner with Style next season. In addition to the rumors of Taki joining SBTC Esports, there are not many quality Support in the current VCS for GAM to choose from. Therefore, there is a high possibility that a brand new name will appear in the defending champion’s squad in the 2023 season.
