Kodoani.com – PQube has officially announced the release dates of the HD remakes for the two titles Class of Heroes 1 & 2: Complete Edition of Acquire via a stream on Tuesday. The expected release date is April 26, and the collection will be released on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and on PC via Steam.
The HD remaster versions of these titles will include Class of Heroes Anniversary Edition for the main title and Class of Heroes 2G Remaster Edition for the sequel. This is a great opportunity for players to re-experience these two classic games with improved graphics and many new features.
Acquire has first announced the development of a Class of Heroes 2 remaster in 2022. The game was originally released in Japan for the PlayStation Portable in 2009 and was later released in English in 2013. This is also the first time a game of the series has been released in English.
Class of Heroes was originally launched for the PSP in 2008 and was later released in English in 2009. The third installment in the series, Class of Heroes 3, launched for the PlayStation 3 and PSP in 2010. Although there were plans for an English release, the project was canceled by Gaijinworks. The other titles in the series, Ken to Mahō to Gakuenmono 3D and Shin Ken to Mahō to Gakuenmono Toki no Gakuen, were released in 2011 and 2012, respectively.
Additionally, Acquire released the game Adventure Academia: The Fractured Continent (Ken to Mahō to Gakuen Quest) – a story set in the world of Class of Heroes – for PlayStation 4, Switch and PC via Steam in Japan, and is available for streaming. Released in English on Steam in September 2022.
