A group of Minecraft gamers called Skyblock Squad spent a total of 400 hours rebuilding the city of Mondstadt in the popular 1:1 scale Genshin Impact game. Actually, it’s at an even bigger 1:1.15 scale, as Minecraft has limited ways to bring out the full detail of the city of Mondstadt. This project started in August 2021, and has not been completed until now after 4 months.
As in the video posted by Skyblock Squad, the magnificent and large buildings of the city of Mondstadt have been recreated in the Minecraft game. Although they are not soft, but instead are full of Minecraft blocks, Genshin Impact gamers will surely recognize the familiar Mondstadt city in the video below.
We made the ENTIRE City of Mondstadt from Genshin Impact in Minecraft! | 1:1 Scale
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Genshin Impact rebuilt in Minecraft. Back in July, a Vietnamese gamer named Nguyen Duy Hien, along with other friends, created an entire city of Inazuma in the Minecraft game. It’s still a great creation, but perhaps a little less impressive now that we’ve seen Genshin Impact’s entire city of Mondstadt recreated in the creative title Minecraft.
The Skyblock Squad team also shared that Mondstadt is not the final destination, the team plans to build other cities of Genshin Impact and even reproduce the huge map of Genshin Impact into Minecraft in the near future.
