Voodoo, the publisher of the popular mobile game, has revealed that its casual games have surpassed 6 billion downloads.
Voodoo achieved 5 billion downloads by the end of May 2021 and 6 billion by February 2022, with over 200 games in its library.
Voodoo boasts a portfolio of some of the most downloaded games in the world. Some of the world’s most downloaded mobile games include Helix Jump with over 800 million plays, Paper.io 2 and Aquapark.io with over 270 million plays each.

Voodoo said in November 2021 that it will upgrade more hyper-casual games this year with new ideas, opening tournaments and Voodoo events to support its community of studios succeed and promote this year’s trend.

With a huge library of more than 2100 games, Voodoo’s goal is to entertain the whole world. The studio has expanded from a humble studio in Paris into a global force of more than 550 people.

Voodoo is a French game company that has dominated the casual game market. Recently, to expand its business, the company acquired the Israeli studio Beach Bum. This unit specializes in board games and cards for mobile platforms with 3 main games: Backgammon (Lord of the Board), Spades Royale and Gin Rummy Stars. The company’s monthly revenue is about $4 million.
Terms of the acquisition in the agreement were not disclosed. There is no data on payments between the two parties. However, according to the Globes source, the value of the deal could be at $300 million.
