Mangaka Shoji Sato announced last Friday that his and Kenji Saito’s manga God Shining Moonlight Howling Moon ‘temporarily’ ends with volume 3.
Yen Press is publishing the manga in English and it describes the story:
Kenji Saito (Trinity Seven) and Shouji Sato (Highschool of the Dead, Triage X) present the action-packed action story of Howling Moon, a charming, kick-ass magical girl. The question is does she fight for good or evil?
The manga was first published in Kadokawa’s issue of Bessatsu Dragon Age magazine (now titled Young Dragon Age) in May 2017. The beginning of a series of manga introductions with titles such as Mahou Shoujo Flaming ☆ Star (God Flame Heavenly Maiden Flaming Star) but the name was later revealed to be God Shining Moonlight Howling Moon. Yen Press published the manga’s second compiled book volume in June 2020.
Sato launched the Triage XX manga in Kadokawa with Monthly Dragon Age magazine in 2009. Kadokawa published the manga’s 23rd volume last Friday. Yen Press is publishing the manga and published the 21st volume on June 15. The series inspired a television anime in 2015. Crunchyroll and Daisuki both streamed the anime. Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime and released it on Blu-ray and DVD in January 2017. Sato also drew the art for Highschool of the Dead, another manga that also adapted the anime.
Saito and Akinari Nao launched the Trinity Seven manga in Kadokawa’s Monthly Dragon Age magazine in 2011. Saito Gishin Eiyuu no Amadeus’ (Amadeus, Hero of the False God) manga launched in Shounen Magazine R in February 2019 with artwork by Ichitaka. The manga’s third and final volume was published in November 2020. Saito’s most recent manga is Misumi-san wa Misukasenai (Misumi’s Missed Insight), which debuted on April 19, with Hiro Hata. is a painter.
