Thanks to his good relationship with Goku, Vegeta has changed himself, becoming a lot more like a normal human in Dragon Ball.
One of the attractions of the Dragon Ball series is the main characters. The relationship between some of the characters is always interesting to fans. And at the forefront of these relationships are the two Goku and Vegeta.
Fans of the series know that at first Vegeta’s personality was not as friendly as it is now. At first, he was a different man, much more ruthless than he is now, and ignorant of friendship. Thanks to his relationship with Goku, Vegeta has transformed himself, becoming a lot more like a normal human in Dragon Ball.
Teach about true friendship
Prince Saiyan started to be a good guy in Dragon Ball after fighting with Z warriors on Earth in Android Saga with Cell Saga, Vegeta has become much closer to everyone.
Before Vegeta met Goku, he was completely oblivious to friendship. We’ve all seen from Vegeta’s relationship with his fellow Saiyan warriors Nappa and Raditz that all Vegeta wants is to use them as “pawns”.
After fighting alongside the Z Warriors on Earth in the Android Saga with Cell Saga, Vegeta has grown closer to everyone. And Buu Saga has shown that he actually becomes friends with many Z Warriors, including Goku.
Create something for Vegeta to strive towards
The Saiyan prince’s current goal of wanting to surpass Goku has given his life a new meaning, it opens another door, towards the good life for Vegeta
Vegeta basically had no real goals before. He simply wanted to seek revenge on Frieza and didn’t care about anyone, until Vegeta met and was defeated by Goku.
The monkey man gave Vegeta something to live and work towards before he even had a family. Vegeta’s current goal of wanting to surpass Goku has given his life a new meaning, it opens another door, towards a good life for Vegeta.
Show you can achieve anything
Vegeta’s personality becomes better after learning that the monkey brother became a Super Saiyan, Goku is originally a low-level Saiyan, but he has surpassed any Saiyan warrior Vegeta has encountered before.
Vegeta has always believed that he will become the legendary Super Saiyan and defeat Frieza, ultimately avenging his race. But after he failed, he noticed that the legendary Super Saiyan was not himself, but Goku.
When he became a Super Saiyan, another door opened for Vegeta, showing that he can accomplish anything. Goku is originally a low-level Saiyan, but he has surpassed any powerful Saiyan warrior Vegeta has encountered before.
Help me find true happiness
Son Goku told Prince Saiyan about friendship and later a family that helped him find true happiness, not things that make him smile quickly, such as revenge.
Vegeta never really knew what happiness was. He only finds satisfaction in doing things that make him smile quickly, such as killing enemies and taking revenge.
These somewhat selfish and ruthless feats are not really the door to happiness, and Vegeta knows that too. Goku told him about friendship and later a family that helped Vegeta find true happiness.
Become more mature
Vegeta was definitely completely the good guy in Buu Saga, Goku made the Saiyan prince’s mind become more mature, no longer having childish desires like needing nothing but strength for himself.
Not only did Goku teach Vegeta what happiness really entails, but it also made him more mature. Vegeta is already an adult but he is definitely not an adult!
Vegeta has childish desires and needs nothing but strength for himself. Goku showed him that life is much more than that. Although the monkey is not… very mature, but in the end Goku makes Vegeta’s thoughts more mature.
Show Vegeta mercy
Currently, when facing a bad person, Vegeta also thinks twice before trying to kill him, however, unlike Goku, he will think nothing before defeating a truly evil and dangerous enemy
Another thing Vegeta didn’t understand when he first appeared in the Dragon Ball series was mercy. Vegeta will be willing to completely obliterate someone just because he wants to, as we saw when he killed Nappa and Vegeta’s reaction to Raditz’s death.
Now, even when facing a bad person, Vegeta thinks twice before trying to kill him. However, unlike Goku, he won’t think twice before defeating a truly evil and dangerous enemy!
