Gunner Gumayusi of T1 turned on the “early neck” mode, making fans worried about going into the “falling down” of the LCK Summer 2021.
T1 in the LCK Spring 2022 is being evaluated as one of the candidate teams for the championship. The reason is because currently, their young players are at the maturity of their careers. In addition, with a long time fighting together, the whole team is having a certain cohesion. Even the Oners or Zeus themselves, especially Gumayusi – Keria have proven themselves.
Recently, Gunner Gumayusi – one of the most notable names of the LCK season 2022, has had a “burnt nape” again. Specifically, after the opening match with an easy victory over Kwangdong Freecs, Gumayusi confidently asserted in an interview with Korea’s Kikunews: “I want to lift more titles than senior Bang. Gen.G this season I heard is very strong but we are the champions, and Gen.G just deserved… 2nd place.”
This is not the first time that T1’s young ADC has turned on the “early neck” mode. Remember, it was Gumayusi himself, in the middle of Summer 2021 also gave a confident statement when asserting that he and Keria were the strongest bot pair in the world. After that, this player was “karmic” when his performance plummeted and had to give up his position to his elder brother Teddy.
Because of this, Gumayusi also made a part of T1 fans worried that he would go into the “fall of the road” last time. However, with his talent showing up and the same amazingly consistent performance as he did during Worlds 2021, Gumayusi is slowly proving that he really has joined Support Keria to become the most powerful bot pair in the world. Both will be extremely important factors for T1 in their journey to conquer the title in this 2022 season.
