Kodoani.com – DMM announced on Tuesday that they are producing a live action series based on the manga “Happy Kanako's Killer Life” (Shiawase Kanako no Koroshiya Seikatsu) by Toshiya Wakabayashi, and will air on the online service DMM TV next winter.
Non (left) will play the role of Kanako, a girl who accidentally becomes an assassin and discovers her abilities in this profession. Taisuke Fujigaya, a member of the boy band Kis-My-Ft2, will take on the role of Sakurai, Kanako's assassin mentor and colleague who always cares for her.
Tsutomu Hanabusa, who directed the live-action film “Tokyo Revengers”, will be the director of this film.
Seven Seas Entertainment is currently releasing the manga in English, and describes the content as follows:

Wakabayashi posted the manga in four-panel form on his Twitter and pixivFANBOX. Seikaisha later released the manga on their Twi4 service. The manga's seventh volume was released in March 2023.
Wakabayashi's manga “Tsuredure Children” chronicles a series of romantic short stories set in a school environment. The manga was launched online in October 2012 and then serialized in Weekly Shōnen Magazine from 2015. The manga ended in July 2018.
