Ikkei Yamamoto will direct the play, Hideyuki Nishimori will write the script, and Tadasuke will compose the music.
The “High Card” project includes the anime that premiered on AT-X last January, and the second season is scheduled to premiere in January 2024. Publisher TMS, author Homura Kawamoto, and Hikaru Muno was involved in the original project. Ebimo designed the original characters, and the anime was directed at Studio Hibari. In the sequel, the cast and staff will continue to participate.
The story of “High Card” revolves around a world in which cards play an important role. A secret group of players, called High Cards, must collect cards scattered throughout the kingdom and participate in dangerous quests. The story revolves around the battle between these players, the Mafia family, and other rivals.
The “High Card” project included anime, manga and novels, and was introduced through a drama CD the previous year.
