Kodoani.com – Author Hiroyuki announced on Monday that the 16th volume of the manga Girlfriend, Girlfriend will be the last episode. This volume will ship on July 14. The manga ended May 24 in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine issue 25.
Naoya has just had a girlfriend, the beautiful Saki-chan, and although their intensity often pits them against each other like ice and fire, the two are utterly in love with each other uncontrollably. The guy who swears never to cheat… when suddenly received another confession! Nagisa is cute, sweet, and she has prepared lunch for him. Knowing he couldn’t cheat, but he couldn’t let a lovely girl like this go… so he did the right thing (?): Ask Saki’s permission to let the two of them go on a date.
Hiroyuki launched the manga in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in March 2020. Kodansha will publish the 15th volume of the compiled manga on April 17.
The manga inspired a television anime that premiered in July 2022.
