Hokko Life possesses many features familiar to life sim gamers, which can be seen as a combination of Stardew Valley with Animal Crossing.
After about a year of Early Access, developer Team17 will officially launch the official version of the game Hokko Life in September this year. In addition to being a great farm game, this is also an opportunity for those who do not own Switch to enjoy a game very similar to Animal Crossing.
The farm life simulation genre has become extremely popular over the years, probably after the success of Stardew Valley and the original Animal Crossing. These games have captivated millions of gamers and helped them have great entertainment moments in the context of the spread of COVID, because they all bring joyful, complete and relaxing episodes. Many different developers have rushed into this market with many different games, and Hokko Life can be considered a combination of both Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
This game has many features that are familiar to life sim gamers, and its 3D graphics will probably be more user-friendly for today’s gamers than 2D titles, especially since the game allows for close adjustments. Like everything, gamers can change the texture, color, and angle of a pillow on the sofa. Meanwhile, animals that are “turned” into villagers also give Animal Crossing players a feeling of intimacy and excitement.
The game will release on PC and console on September 27, 2022, with a pretty soft price of only 250,000 VND on Steam.
