The Lost Wild takes gamers into the jungle to face prehistoric dinosaurs, but unlike Ark: Survival Evolved.
Publisher Annapurna Interactive and developer Great Ape Games have just announced The Lost Wild, a dinosaur-themed survival horror game for PC gamers. This game will be released on PC via Steam in 2024. You can check out the first trailer for the game right below:
Annapurna said The Lost Wild is a realistic and cinematic experience, putting gamers in a battle for survival with the evil beasts that once ruled the Earth tens of millions of years ago. However, unlike the monster dinosaurs in Jurrasic Park, the dinosaurs in The Lost Wild will behave and act like real wild animals, ie sometimes hunting but also resting.
The gameplay of The Lost Wild is described as “exploring abandoned structures hidden in a dense wilderness, full of prehistoric life” in which the player is in the middle of the food chain. “Hide well, watch out, and hide. If all else fails, run away or try threatening with weapons, creating an intense cat-and-mouse game.” Thus, perhaps these dinosaurs may also be the product of modern science and technology.
The graphics of The Lost Wild look quite nice, with dense jungle and impressive lighting. Hopefully it will give gamers a really engaging experience when it launches in the future.
