Visa issues with VCS representatives, especially GAM coming to North America to attend Worlds 2022, are causing a fever in the Vietnamese LoL community recently.
Recently, the world of League of Legends is extremely busy and exciting. Because, VCS will return to the playing field of Worlds 2022. But more importantly, fans are anxious because GAM and SGB have not passed their visas.
Even, according to bongdaplus.vn earlier, the king of Vietnam had failed his visa for the first time. And have to wait another 14 days, GAM can continue to attend the interview to have enough documents to go to Worlds 2022.
Then, recently, once again, the information revealed from GAM made the VCS community even more worried. Specifically, TK Nguyen, the boss of GAM shared the team’s working image. And it is worth noting that the back board has the members’ names. Surnames are appended to the words “VISA…” followed by “x” and “v”. According to the analysis, Kiaya and Sty1e passed the visa, while Izumin, Levi, Bie and Kati all failed.
Immediately, this status line was shared widely, sparking many discussions. Many fans thought that losing Levi would mean GAM would be blown away. Even if the team uses option B to find a replacement, it is not good. Not to mention, many fans wondered why Levi could fail the interview.
Then, in the same discussions, there were some pretty reputable names confirming the above incident. According to Mr. X, the GAM captain hasn’t been interviewed yet, it’s not a hit. However, the VCS community also half believed and half didn’t and were waiting for the GAM side to speak up.
Since last weekend, there has been a lot of news regarding GAM’s Visa issue. However, the VCS king remained silent and only told fans to believe in TK Nguyen, believe in the team.
In addition, Riot has commented on the above incident: “We have worked with the government representative on the visa application for the VCS region and we still hope that the defending VCS champion, GAM, will have a be able to participate in this year’s Worlds.” Currently, Riot is working with the US Government to increase the chances of success for GAM’s next visa application at the US Embassy in Vietnam.
After all, fans are very hopeful that the flagship of VCS can come to North America and fight hard for Worlds 2022.
