Konosuba, one of the most iconic isekai anime ever, just got a promotional video, confirming the release of its long-awaited season 3 and more. Nearly 6 years after the extremely successful season 2 aired, Konosuba: God Bless on This Wonderful World! 3 joins the anime competition of 2024.
The announcement was made at the Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko 35th Anniversary Festival. Konusuba shared a promotional video revealing the new cast and a 2024 release of season 3, although no exact date was provided. The first two seasons were animated by Studio Deen and the third Studio Drive will take on the role as they are responsible for the spin-off airing in 2023. Studio Drive has worked on hit animated films like Demon Slayer and My Dress-Up Baby. Yujiro Abe will direct the new season and Koichi Kikuta will be the character designer. Most of the voice actors will return and there will be three new faces: Kanon Takao, Yahagi Sayuri and Reina Ueda.
