Hyper Front is a new game from developer NetEase. This game is predicted to be a direct competitor of Valorant.
Lately, NetEase has been interested in creating products that compete with the big players in the Mobile gaming space. End of the name Project Bloodstrike and then continue to another game that is expected to be Valorant’s direct rival, Hyper Front. So let’s see if this new shooting game of the Chinese game company is strong enough to dislodge the interest of gamers for rival Riot? The following are Moi’s reviews about Hyper Front.
Hyper Front Overview
Hyper Front is a 5v5 competitive first-person shooter game, set in a near-future sci-fi world. The game has an interesting shooting experience, combined with a character system with unique unique skills. The game was developed and published by NetEase for mobile devices.
Calling Hyper Front’s Gameplay strange is also correct. Simply because there has never been a game that combines 2 elements of shooting and character skills here. Maybe there will be Call of Duty Mobile, but that’s in survival mode and Activision’s in-game skills make it quite simple. However, this gameplay feels quite close to Valorant fans. It can be said that copying the same from Riot’s products is not possible.
Still a tactical bomb-laying game, buying weapons right in the match, the character has 3 skills, each team has 5 members. This creates a familiar feeling for gamers playing Valorant, but it will be a completely new experience for beginners or those who have never played Riot’s games. In general, for Valorant players like Mo, the gameplay of this game is not too creative and groundbreaking.
Hyper Front character system
Hyper Front’s character system is made quite well both in terms of shaping and skills. We will still have the scout, attack, defense, and support character classes all available. But the rather unfortunate point is that the variety of characters’ costumes is not high. This can be ignored because it will be updated by the company in the future. However, the part of building biography and character’s personality is done quite superficially. This is worthy of criticism.
The arsenal in Hyper Front is considered to be sufficient by Mo. Not too poor but not too diverse either. The game still owns legends like M4A1, AK-47, M249, …… But, the shape of these weapons is far from reality, more futuristic. This is quite suitable for the context in the game, but inadvertently makes gamers feel a bit strange.
Using Unreal Engine graphics technology, Hyper Front gives a pretty good graphic quality. I really have to commend the game making team for optimizing such a good graphics quality that can run smoothly on mid-range devices. The environmental details, skill effects, character movements do quite well. Of course it will be different from Valorant for sure. Beautiful effects, smooth movements, bright colors are what we can comment on this game.
Hyper Front has a game mode system that is quite small. There are only a few basic modes such as classic (ie placing a bomb), versus machine, ranking and more entertainment modes. But this can be fixed in the future, as long as the community is strong enough for the game to continue to be developed.
Above are the feelings of Weed after 2 days of eating in Hyper Front. All feelings are subjective and personal. If you have other ideas, do not hesitate to share so we can discuss. We also have other platforms, remember to follow to not miss interesting news about mobile games.
