According to a recent post in Windows 11 Insider Preview Build, Microsoft has announced plans to remove the ability to install Win 11 Pro without a network connection. This means that there are no longer any versions of Win 11 that can be installed offline, because Windows 11 Home version has removed this feature since its launch.

And yet, in the process of completing the installation of Win 11 on gaming PCs for personal use, users will be forced to use a Microsoft account, not allowing to use an offline account (or Local Account) in installation process again. Microsoft not only did not share the reason why it changed its mind to allow Windows 11 to be installed without a network, but they also confirmed that this change will definitely happen.

Fortunately, Windows 10 is unharmed (at least for now). However, maybe in the future the “big hands” magicians in the world will also find a way to circumvent Microsoft’s laws. And now, if there is no need, you do not necessarily need to upgrade to Win 11, especially those who are using AMD CPUs. Because Win 11’s TPM request error causing lag for AMD Ryzen CPUs has not been successfully fixed so far.

Summary:
– Microsoft announced plans to remove the ability to install Windows 11 Pro without a network connection
– This means that there are no longer any versions of Win 11 that can be installed offline
– When installing Win 11 on a gaming PC for personal purposes, users are required to use a Microsoft account, not a Local Account.
