If things are still unclear, now perhaps Inosuke Hashibira is the brightest character in Kimetsu no Yaiba: Entertainment District. Inosuke quickly made fans around the world say “disgusting,” when he successfully identified Tengen Uzui’s last missing wife. Inosuke became a focal point throughout the second half of season 2, succeeding when Tanjiro and Zenitsu failed and had to manage to ignite the excitement of the audience.
Fans’ consensus on Inosuke’s opinion stems from this character’s new ability. After Tanjiro assumed there was a tunnel between the houses that the demon they were hunting passed through, Inosuke tore down Ogimoto’s house until he found a small hole in the ground. Unfortunately the hole was too small for him to get in.
However, “Lord Inosuke” as he used to call himself, was a demon slayer who never allowed himself to be stopped by normal logic or physics. Realizing that only his head could fit the hole, Inosuke decided to remove the joints in his body so he could get into the hole – and of course he did. Inosuke turned himself into soft noodles after a series of chilling sounds sent the audience’s spines, he dived into the hole and crawled deep into the ground. The scene made the audience shiver for a few minutes. Things only return to normal when Inosuke returns his joints to their original positions, proving to himself that Tengen’s mission would never have been possible without him.
At the beginning of the episode, Tengen was hunting in the city when something caught Tengen’s attention. The character hears someone fighting on the ground. The story then goes back in time, when Inosuke discovered a hole under eight floorboards and found Daki’s pantry, where he quickly freed Makio, Suma, and Zenitsu. The group begins to fight a kimono-clad demon – a creature that appears to have been born from Daki’s will, and the sounds of the battle begin to attract Tengen’s attention.
Inosuke’s ability to dislocate joints – which scared many viewers – helped him break into Daki’s pantry. Tengen probably wouldn’t have been able to locate the underground room on his own without the sounds made by Inosuke and the others to guide the way. Without Inosuke, perhaps Tengen’s wife, Zenitsu, and the other victims of Daki might be missing forever.
It was surprising that Inosuke had such an impressive performance in the Entertainment District, as he was not suitable for activities in the bustling neighborhood. However, out of the six people Tengen sent on a secret mission, Inosuke was the only one not exposed. He was also the first to encounter Daki and learn that she can walk between walls, Inosuke is hunting demons while Tanjiro does housework without fooling anyone and Zenitsu plays shamisen.
Inosuke has many great moments in this movie. It is entirely possible that he becomes the hero of the story, or this could be his last chance to shine before tragedy strikes. Now, Tengen’s wives are safe and the party will have to join forces with Tanjiro to fight against Daki. Based on this successful action of Inosuke, it is possible that he will soon join the war. Ha Xuan Luc hasn’t shown her power yet, so it’s possible that a big plot twist is still ahead.
