You want to delete your account because it’s too bad but you don’t know how? Don’t worry Game4V will guide you on how to delete your Genshin Impact account permanently.
There are countless reasons why some players want to permanently delete their Genshin Impact account. Regardless of a player’s motives, the method of permanently deleting their Genshin Impact account remains the same. You can absolutely do it through the website or email, depending on the preference of the player.
Adventurers can delete their Genshin Impact account by doing the following:
Go to the Genshin Impact official website and then click “Official Website”. At the top right next to the yellow “Download” button will be the player’s username or “Login”. If the player is not logged in, they should do so now. Then, click on the username and go to “Accounts”. Go to “Account Security Device”. An option that says “Delete account” will be at the bottom right, click it. Click “Next.” Select the appropriate verification method, then click “Send Code”. Get the code and paste it in “Verification Code”. Click “Next.” Click “Agree.”
That Genshin Impact account will be permanently deleted within 30 days, provided the player does not re-login within 30 days of submitting this request. Note, this applies to people who log in with their miHoYo account.
There are two email addresses players can send emails to: [email protected][email protected]. The adventurer should create a draft that includes both of those emails. Then do the following:
Set a subject that makes it clear that you want to delete your account. Under the body of the email, write why someone wants to delete their account, along with some ways to verify that it belongs to the sender of the email. Then click to send the email. This method is for players who log in with their miHoYo account. PS4 and PS5 players have to delete their PSN accounts, which is undesirable for most players.
Once an account is permanently deleted, the player can never get it back. As a result, extra care should be taken in deciding if they really want to lose access to the old account anymore. The first method includes a 30-day grace period if a person wants to log in again, which will not be deleted immediately at that point. Think carefully before you come to this decision if you don’t want regrets to happen.
