Yesterday, Riot Games officially announced a bunch of new content for this summer’s big event. However, the new game mode with the name Arena has not been introduced in detail to the international LoL community.
Until today, this “filmmaking company” has finally revealed everything from gameplay, unique content to Arena’s ranking system.

First, talking about how to play, Riot Games divided into 4 basic steps including:
Step 1: Find the Battle
Players can find matches alone or with a teammate in Arena mode.
Step 2: Ban and Select.
Each player will have 1 ban, then will enter the process of choosing hidden, you cannot know what the opponent chooses and vice versa. In addition, you also have no Summoner Gems or Summoner Spells.
Step 3: Fight!
You can consider this a mode inspired by the Arena of Truth, because players will go through different stages such as buying items and alternate fighting.
At the purchase stage, you can choose Upgrade Cores as well as use gold to buy equipment. In the fighting phase, if you win, you will keep the health of the whole team, if you lose, you will lose some blood.
Each fight screen will be 2v2, but sometimes there is also the appearance of “guest” Tinh Vo Master to join and stir up the arena. Standing in the top 2 strongest teams each match will help you rank from “Go Doan” to “Gladiator”.
Step 4: Rematch
After your team loses, you can continue watching, but you can also leave the match immediately to search for a new match.

Increase power with equipment
At the beginning of the match, you will have 1000 gold to buy equipment, Riot Games recommends you to buy starting equipment because they are actually quite effective with the vast majority of matches. In addition, every time you go to the next stage of buying, you will get 3000 gold, this is also the price for all equipment in Arena: All are large equipment for 3000 gold.
In addition, when defeating the enemy you will receive 350 gold, you can test some interesting features in the shop such as “Juice”.
Reality Enhancement
Similar to the Arena of Truth, in the Arena there will also be “Upgrade Cores” that significantly increase the power of players. You can choose 1 of these 3 cores or change to 3 other cores.
Guest
As mentioned above, sometimes in the match, there will be “guests” of Tinh Vo Master, the name of which appears randomly from 1 of 10 champions with the skin of Tinh Vo Master of League of Legends. Each name has its own unique way to stir up the game, Riot Games sees this as a variable that makes matches more interesting than usual.
Rating
Unlike the normal system, Arena will have 5 ranking levels including Wood, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Gladiator (roughly translated: Go Doan, Dong Doan, Silver Doan, Gold Doan and Gladiator).
