Janna is the next champion to receive a new visual effect update by Riot after being reworked at the beginning of the 2022 season.
Janna is one of the first names in 2022 that Riot makes skill changes. This helped Janna return to the bot lane meta and become the go-to pick for many players in solo queue. However, Riot Games still doesn’t want to stop when it continues to “favor” Janna with the visual effects update scheduled to take place in patch 12.19.
It makes perfect sense for Riot to make a VFX change for Janna when she is also a “senior” champion in League of Legends. The adjustments will somewhat make Janna’s skill set less outdated, as well as help players use it more smoothly than before.
In this update, Riot still wants to make Janna’s skill set smoother, similar to what it did with Fix or Varus before. The most notable are the new effects of Q – Windstorm and R – Monsoon when Riot decided to bring a new look to these two moves. In addition, Janna’s armor effect has also been adjusted to become much more vivid and smoother.
More specifically, Janna is also “favored” by Riot when in addition to the default skin, up to 13 of this champion’s skins have received adjustments. In which, up to 6 Janna’s first skins have completely changed the effect.
It is expected that Janna’s visual effects update will take effect in the upcoming 12.19 update. Don’t forget to follow the Game News Channel to not miss the latest news about League of Legends!
