After being edited earlier this year, Janna continues to be Riot’s favorite champion when upgrading to the visuals.
Janna is the next champion in Riot’s visual effects upgrade plan. This information has just been shared by Riot design team member Pehrek on the Reddit forum a few hours ago.
Accordingly, Janna’s image update will be completed in update 12.19. Riot’s goal is to refresh the look of this early champion, optimizing the animation from moving to using skills.
The main update target is the default Janna with some of her skins. The design team will add many new effects without losing the uniqueness of Janna’s ability to control Wind.
“Similar to the visual updates this year (Fizz, Leona, Nami…), we wanted to optimize the skills of our favorite spellcasters. Our aim is to make these skills more relevant to current graphics, thereby significantly improving gameplay.” Riot Pehrek shared.

As the 34th champion in League of Legends, Janna has existed since 2009 until now. So obviously there are many things about this champion that are considered too outdated. In addition to the Default Janna, there are 6 original Janna skins that have completely changed their effects. Meanwhile, the recently released skins are still adjusted but to a lesser extent.
Basically, the Janna visual effects upgrade is complete. Riot will launch the PBE test server on September 21, when version 12.18 is updated on the official servers.
