It’s hard to imagine that Naobito, Nanami, Maki and Megumi are the strongest witches in Jujutsu Kaisen as they struggle desperately against a single curse. However, the curse in question was definitely stronger than Jogo and Hanami despite only becoming adults a few minutes ago.
Dagon ate countless humans to gain power to quickly and easily overwhelm the witches after using his Domain Expansion. It is difficult to defeat an opponent in expanding their territory. Of course, Gojo is an exception as he can easily dominate other fields with his own.
But because those sorcerers did not have stronger innate fields, they were all powerless against the curse. However, Dagon’s domain expansion is familiar to Jujutsu Kaisen fans. Let’s dig deeper to learn more about it.

Dagon’s expansion: Horizon of the Captivating Skandha
Dagon’s expansion in Jujutsu Kaisen is a tropical beach with a palm tree forest on one side. There is also a vast ocean on the other side, creating a quiet and peaceful space. The reason this place is familiar is because this is where Kenjaku and the curses gathered in part 1.
Territory Expansion has a certain technique that allows Dagon’s shikigami to automatically hit the target. The fish appear instantly from the target’s perspective, making them nearly impossible to block as the shikigami do not exist until they hit the target, instantly devouring their flesh.
Dagon used the “Death Swarm” within his domain, releasing countless Shikigami with solid technique. Once grown, Dagon can use Horizon of the Captivating Skandha for offensive purposes.
Furthermore, Megumi uses her own domain, Chimera Shadow Garden, to enter Dagon’s Domain, leading to a battle between the domains and neutralizing Dagon’s surefire technique. On the other hand, Toji could easily go in after using the hole Megumi created to escape.
