After a long wait, the first information about Jujutsu Kaisen ss2 has been revealed, including the movie’s broadcast time.

During an event for the film held to celebrate the success of the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie in Japan and the entire Jujutsu Kaisen franchise, it was revealed that Jujutsu Kaisen ss2 is entering its first phase. The announcement confirms that a second season of Jujutsu Kaisen is currently in production and the series is slated to air in 2023.
A special illustration by Jujutsu Kaisen manga author Gege Akutami has also been released to celebrate the news.

Jujutsu Kaisen ss2 broadcast time announced
Jujutsu Kaisen is a Japanese manga series created and illustrated by Akutami Gege, serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shounen Jump magazine since March 2018. It is published by Shueisha and has 18 volumes published. as of December 2021. The story follows Itadori Yuji, a high school boy who secretly joins the Sorcerer’s organization with the ambition to destroy a powerful cursed spirit named Ryoumen Sukuna. Jujutsu Kaisen is the story that follows Akutami’s previous work, Tokyo Toritsu Jujutsu Koutou Senmon Gakkou (War Spell 0). An anime adaptation produced by MAPPA that aired its first season on television from October 2020 to March 2021, Jujutsu Kaisen ss2 is scheduled to air in 2023.
tadori Yuuji is a first year high school student living in Sendai with his grandfather. Despite his extraordinary physical abilities, he chose to join the spiritual research club so he could leave school at 5 p.m. to take care of his grandfather in the hospital, who later died there. At school, Yuuji picked up an exorcism amulet without knowing it and gave it to his brothers and sisters in the club. He then meets the magician Fushiguro Megumi, who comes to retrieve the aforementioned amulet – actually the finger of Ryoumen Sukuna, a very dangerous animal – and the two go to school to stop the siblings in the sentence. the club in response to the news that they intended to take the amulet off at school that evening. Yuuji helps Megumi fight off “curse spirits”, creatures, born from negative human emotions, that are attacking the siblings in order to obtain spells and increase their strength. Yuuji regains Sukuna’s finger, but Megumi is about to be defeated by the cursed spirits.
Urged on by his grandfather’s last words, he swallowed his finger and let Ryoumen Sukuna take possession of his body, saving Megumi. Yuuji retained control of himself against Sukuna; however, Sukuna is an extremely dangerous curse: in the heyday of the magicians, they attacked him with all their might and were defeated; he needed to be purified immediately – this would mean Yuuji’s death. Faced with this situation, Megumi’s teacher Satoru Gojo sends him to the Spelling Specialty Public High School in order to make his superiors a bold proposal: delay Yuuji’s death sentence until after he swallowed all of Sukuna’s fingers, in order to purify him once and for all.
