Developed by Josef Fares and Hazelight Studios, the developers behind A Way Out, It Takes Two is an impressive-looking title built entirely on split-screen co-op gameplay. In the game, gamers will be able to control Cody and May – a couple turned into dolls. With the help of a magic book called Dr. Hakim, the two need to work together to return to the real world.
The two main characters in It Takes Two are Cody and May, a couple who are planning to divorce. Cody always argues with May about how she just works all day, doesn’t care about her family, May counters that Cody never supported her work or appreciated it. After telling Rose (their daughter) that they were contemplating a divorce, Rose ran off to get the dolls she made herself, which looked a lot like her parents, and took it to the barn. of the family, Rose tries to repair her parents’ relationship by having the dolls act out plays.
A strange thing happened. Cody and May find themselves trapped inside the dolls, caused by one of their daughter’s tears falling and accidentally hitting the dolls. In dire straits, Cody and May must work together to not only overcome their only test, but also repair their marriage. From here, an exciting journey has been opened and players will be swept up in the extremely tight and attractive transmission of the game.
