Episode 5 Kimetsu no Yaiba season 2 – Tanjirou is still alive in front of Daki. Tanjiro was as determined as ever, using even Hinokami Kagura against Daki, despite knowing it would drain all his physical strength.
Inosuke put a lot of effort into trying to find the demon and find its food storage. That way, Inosuke freed not only Zenitsu but also Makio and Suma, Uzui’s two missing wives. Elsewhere, after finding Hinatsuru, Tengen also finds his way into the underground lair to reunite with his wives. The episode also includes touching moments between Yin Pil and his wife, a bit about their relationship, and some training of the young swordsmen.

Episode 5 Kimetsu no Yaiba season 2 as usual still makes us admire because of its beautiful animation. It can be mentioned as the scene where Zenitsu unleashed his power. Especially the scene where Uzui Tengen first pulled out the twin blades from their sheaths, easily breaking the demon’s lair and at the same time rescuing the victims in it.

Tengen is making a cool comeback. He really cares about his wives and teammates. The action motto that values their lives above anything else also reminds us of Obito’s famous line in Naruto.
The initial impression of Uzui’s three wives is that they seem to have complementary personalities. Makio has a tougher appearance but is loyal to the people she cares for. Suma is the most childish, but has a cute personality. And in the end, Hinatsuru is almost like the eldest sister, more calm. They seem to have stolen Tengen’s heart through their time as ninjas.
Suma and Makio
This makes me curious how it will affect the story. It would be nice to see some more camaraderie between the shinobi and demon slayer guilds. It’s a relationship that I’m quite curious about. Plus, I still don’t think we’ve seen enough of Nezuko. I had high hopes after seeing her in the previous episode. I thought, “This is the perfect setup for the box to break and she’ll fly out to support her brother.”
Apparently, there’s still some time left for that as it looks like Daki and Tanjirou haven’t finished their battle yet and things are just getting started. Daki’s strength seems to be on par with Tanjiro’s at the moment. I imagine Daki’s centuries of “eating” at Yoshiwara made her so much stronger, but I was quite surprised that Tanjirou was able to continue to throw her off balance.
Through the 5 episodes of Kimetsu no Yaiba season 2, it can be seen that the strong plot and characters in this season are more interesting than in the previous season. I think it gives more time to understand the characters and enjoy the top notch animation. It’s a pity that recent confirmation tells us that this season only has 11 episodes, but the upcoming Sunday night time slot will have to be hot with the return of Attack on Titan.
