The two Worlds 2022 champions, Kingen Top and Mid laner Zeka become the next rookies in Hanwha Life Esports’ ambitious roster.
Not long after announcing Gunner Viper, HLE continued to launch two other “blockbusters”, Kingen and Zeka. The singles duo who have just won Worlds 2022 in the color of DRX are indeed the right pieces to put into HLE’s “super team” lineup in the 2023 season.
After a season “to the bottom of society”, HLE has come back strongly and is not afraid to spend money to recruit a series of top stars. The goal of this team is none other than to compete for the LCK championship and return to Worlds, which they did in 2021.
Previously, there was a lot of information that HLE picked Scout in the Mid lane. However, the original plan of the team was still Zeka, who had a very impressive performance at Worlds 2022. And as soon as the news that the entire DRX roster became a free agent, HLE quickly signed with the kit. Team Zeka and Kingen.
With all the factors capable of carrying the team, HLE is expected to find support-oriented players to fit into this lineup. Most likely Clid will be the team’s new Jungler while Life will be the pairing with “Arrow” Viper in the bot lane.
HLE’s lineup has been finalized since the early days of the transfer window. Therefore, in the following days, fans will continue to see the remaining rookies. With the rapid team building, HLE hopes the players will get acquainted soon and have enough time to practice before entering the new season in early 2023.
