The producer of the Kuroko no Basuke anime recently posted a new poster with a status line announcing a new project of the Kuroko no Basuke franchise on the occasion of its 10th anniversary. Not much information has been revealed, but the main production of the upcoming work will still be done by Production IG.
In addition, the Kuroko’s Basketball will also have an exhibition in April in Tokyo and June in Osaka called “Kuroko’s Basketball ANIMATION GALLERY ~ 10 Years of Miracles ~”, as well as an event in July in Tokyo and September in Osaka’s Hirakata Park called “tHE PARTY CELEBRATES 10 YEARS Kuroko!” (Kuroko’s Basketball 10th Anniversary-PARTY!).
Kuroko no Basuke is a basketball-themed Japanese manga written and illustrated by Fujimaki Tadatoshi. Released in December 2008, the manga follows the efforts of a high school basketball team on their way to the national championship. The anime version was produced by Production IG and began airing on April 7, 2012, ending on September 22, 2012. Season 2 of the anime aired on October 6, 2013.
