In recent years, the gaming industry has grown rapidly. This field is constantly making new strides. Therefore, a healthy playground for game lovers to have the opportunity to meet, exchange and share experiences is necessary. And the Vietnam Game Awards 2023 is such a “destination”.
This morning (December 20), the Vietnam Game Awards 2023 was announced. The event will officially take place from January 2023, the awarding Gala will be held in March 2023.
In the first year of organization, this award has 14 categories, including: Game of the year; Excellent mobile game; Excellent eSports Game; Excellent Vietnamese game; The game has the best graphic design; Excellent game publisher; The most impressive game team; Players with excellent records; The most loved gaming community; Excellent gaming computer; Excellent gaming phone; Excellent gaming monitor; Most favorite gamers drink; Favorite payment channel.
In order to find the best nominees for each category, the awards go through three stages with a Nomination round, a Preliminary round and a Final round. Accordingly, in the Preliminary round (from February 1 to 12, 2023), the Organizing Committee considers the Top 5 for each category according to the following criteria: 50% of votes from the community and 50% from the Appraisal Council.
In the Final Round (February 16 – March 10, 2023), the honored names of each category are based on 30% of the community’s votes and 70% of the evaluation points of the Appraisal Council.
It is known that the Award Appraisal Council gathers leading experts and famous KOLs in the gaming industry.
