With his unique skill set, Nilah can completely go with a lot of different support champions in the bot lane position in League of Legends.
After a few days of revealing through teasers, today Riot Games has officially posted the trailer of Nilah’s skill set – the 161st champion of League of Legends.
Nilah, the Joy Unbound Ability Reveal | New Champion
Here are the details of Nilah’s skills:
Passive: Unending Joy (roughly translated: Endless Joy)
Nilah amplifies the healing ability, shielding nearby allies. Allies who heal or shield Nilah gain an additional amount of health or shield for themselves. When an allied champion heals or shields herself near Nilah, she also heals for some health or shield.
If Nilah kills a minion, she and the nearest ally will gain an extra amount of experience compared to normal.
Q: Formless Blade (roughly translated: Invisible Blade)
Active: Swings sword whip forward, dealing damage to affected targets. When used on an enemy, Nilah will gain attack range, attack speed and enhance her basic attacks, allowing her to whip in a cone and deal additional damage.
Passive: Attacks and abilities on enemy champions ignore part of their armor and heal Nilah for % of the damage dealt. This effect scales with crit ratio and converts excess health into a shield.

W: Jubilant Veil (roughly translated: Veil of Joy)
Nilah hides herself in Jubilant Veil and gains bonus attack speed, also reduces magic damage taken and dodges all enemy basic attacks.
Approaching allies will hide them in this veil but they will have a shorter duration of protection.
E: Slipstream (roughly translated: Surfing with the Flow)
Skill E helps Nilah glide through the target, dealing damage on the way, can be stored up to 2 times at the same time.
Activating Q while using E creates a wave along the way, dealing damage after a moment and gaining Q’s effect.
R: Apotheosis (rough translation: Worshiping the Holy Spirit)
Nilah unleashes power and swings his whip around her, then thrusts enemies into the center. Apotheosis helps Nilah heal for a percentage of the damage dealt, converting excess healing into a shield. This effect is proportional to crit chance and nearby allies also gain.
