Some modifications to the elemental response of the Thao system in the Genshin Impact leak have made many gamers interested.
Version 3.0 is currently receiving a lot of attention from the gaming community around the world with a lot of unique information. Most are leaked through version test videos from very reliable sources. In today’s post, we will learn about two new elemental reactions in the new Genshin Impact leak that interact with the Thao system, Catalyst and Boost.
Thao system with edits from before launch
Previously, there was a lot of information leaked about the Thao system through players selected to experience the test version. As is known, the Thao system will be the last element in the 7 system picture of Genshin Impact. There has also been information about some of these characters being Tighnari. Collei, Kusanali… along with the appearance of themed weapons with a floral appearance.
However, recent changes may surprise gamers and immediately take out their books and start learning again. Mainly because of a renamed elemental reaction, what players know as Quicken is now converted to Catalyze – roughly translated as Catalyst or Resonance.
Specifically, the change of Catalyst
In the 3.0 update, there will be a total of 3 elemental reactions of the Grass type appearing: Catalyst, Ignite, and Grow. In it, Catalyst is like another version of Quicken. This is also the 2nd elemental reaction with a debuff-based effect (Super Conductor being the first).
The Catalyst will appear when the Thao element is combined with the Lightning element. It also has its own two sub-elemental reactions depending on which type of damage you apply to the opponent first. If it’s Thao, the side effect will be Rampant, allowing to deal more Thao damage. In contrast, for the Lightning type, it will be Heavy Thunder, causing the enemy to take more Lightning damage.
Like all elements, the Thao Element will also have resonance, providing additional passive buffs when there are two or more Thao-type characters in the same party. This not only makes the Thao system popular in the upcoming 3.0 version, but also the trigger switch that makes the Thunder system much more powerful. It is possible that Thao and Lei will become a pair of cards that dominate the meta from version 3.0 onwards.
All in all, these new elemental reactions and their resonance effects will be a bit complicated for any player at first. But in terms of efficiency, it really cannot be underestimated. Let’s wait and see how the Thao system will have a successful launch in the upcoming versions! All information will be updated as soon as possible at the YouTube channel Tin Game Mobile Channel.
