After his last day of competition at MSI 2024, the Vietnamese League of Legends champion shared about some of the disadvantages that VCS is suffering.
During the 2024 season, VCS encountered a shocking incident in the international Esports industry when 32 names were investigated for match-fixing by Riot Games. The incident has left all VCS teams short of players and having to compete with a patchwork squad from domestic to international Playoffs.
At this time, the famous player of the reigning champion of League of Legends Vietnam – Levi also shared about the difficulties that VCS is suffering.
In it, Levi shared that Emo revealed that this young player's mentality was “heavily influenced” by the audience at the arena. This is not too surprising, because throughout the past seasons, VCS teams have had to compete on stages without spectators. So when playing on a big stage with a large audience watching, it is understandable that young players like Emo are psychologically affected.
For this reason, Levi said he felt quite sad that VCS did not have a live audience at the stadium, which is a very unfortunate thing for the top tournament of Vietnamese League of Legends.
“I really want to see VCS grow bigger and stronger, I really hope, with help from Riot Games, that day will not be far away” – Levi shared about Riot Games' desire to help the VCS area .
“This is a very difficult time for VCS and I really appreciate any help from all fans around the world” – GAM captain added.
However, to know whether VCS is open for audiences to watch live or not, the Vietnamese League of Legends community still has to wait for more official information from Riot Games.
